The ‘Simpler Statements’ guidelines in the UK or the IORP II guidelines in Europe are pushing towards clearer and easier-to-read pension benefit statements and the industry is taking notice. We designed a StoryTeller report, specifically aimed at pension savers, and tested it with the clients of one of Denmark’s largest pension funds. How did these average pension savers respond to seeing, reading and hearing the story of their personal investments? The results are as obvious as they are thought-provoking.
